Who doesn't love a sweet treat? I'm back today with a tutorial on how to make a 'thank you' treat box. I think this is a cute way to show gratitude to someone you love or use it as a party favor box for any occasion. I love the gold foil cardstock by CutCardStock, it's very shiny and elegant. It makes every project so gorgeous by just adding a little gold foil cardstock to it.
The glitter cardstock is also my another favorite, what can I say? I think I'm just in love with sparkly cardstocks! Check out the tutorial below to start making this sweet treat box.
Directions:
Step 1: Choose a frame die and cut it on a gold foil cardstock, at the same time cut the sentiment using alphabet dies on a silver glitter cardstock.
Then adhere the silver glitter cardstock on top of the gold foil cardstock.
Step 2: Prepare the supplies needed to create the box. Basis cardstock is used in this project along with a 6 x 6 patterned paper that is also available on CutCardStock website. For the transparent affect, any acrylic packaging can be used.
Score the A4 size Basis cardstock all around (refer to the picture below for the scoring information).
Step 3: Trim the excess to form the base for the box below.
Step 4: Glue a patterned paper inside the box and then adhere the flaps together as shown below (exclude the opening flap for the box).
Step 5: Adhere the acrylic sheet over the top of the box and decorate the corner with a different patterned paper. Finally, adhere the sentiment on top of the acrylic sheet and done!
I hope you enjoy this tutorial, I will be back to share more projects with you soon! Have a super crafty day.
