It's 18 minutes away from Thanksgiving and I'm sitting here waiting for Silhouette sales! hehe By the time I finished posting this the sales should be online. Just a quick update, here are couple holiday cards that I made to share with you all! Mainly using Teresa Collins' Santa List line.

The last one was from my last post where I mentioned about my guest designer work being published at CutCardStock blog. In case if you missed it, here it is. They really have some really good quality card stock!

Dream, girls!

Monday, November 4, 2013
Dream, girls! Sometimes in our lives we are too afraid to dream for something before we even put it into action. Needless to say I'm one of them but I truly hope people like me (and all of you) will achieve our dreams someday!

My inspiration was from a pile of scraps, can't let them go to waste can we?

*****Added to Moxie Fab Cards for Cath Post, wishing her good luck in her future endeavors!*****

In previous post I had three cards and I had problem submitting them to Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge because the linking tool only let me link a card per blog post so I had to upload the other two cards to Flickr photos in order to link to the challenge. For those who do the same as me, it's better to upload a card per blog post if you are submitting them to different challenges. I hope this little info helps you in someway.

Thank you for reading and I'd truly appreciate it if you leave me comments! :)

Now let's dream.

Happy Birthday My Friend!

Wednesday, October 30, 2013
I have a friend in Singapore who I have not been contacting for awhile now since I moved to the States. She is one of my college coursemates and later a friend that share working experience together in a different country. It was a great time hanging out with her back in Singapore when I was still working there, we would go some places together on weekends. Fun time, I will never forget those. Her birthday is coming up on the 11th of November and she reminded me a lot of my happy moments in Singapore with her so I made this card for her, I hope I get to meet her again during our visit next year.

Using Couture Creations' Embossing Folder and with a brayer, roll some white ink over it to give the embossed pattern a look that pops at first glance

The embossed paper is popped up with foam stickers, underneath is patterned paper from Basic Grey

Leafy border punch from Martha Stewart and Birthday title bubble is from Recollections' note card

Please read text highlighted in yellow below, thank you!

I also made a couple of simple Thanksgiving cards which I would like to share below

They are basically the same, only the felt maple leaf color is different

Hello Sis

Friday, October 18, 2013
Being away from home is difficult, especially when you know you are permanently away from them and only able to see them every other year. I thought of my sisters yesterday, part of childhood memories. The last time I saw them was in 2012, I can't believe it has been this long already! Sometimes I wish we could at least move half way closer to them compared to where we are now. Lucky we have internet these days! I guess that's what inspired me to create this two cards.

Hello SIS

and Hello SISTER

No stamping, inking, embossing or anything fancy this time, only use what I already have in hand. I got the title "Hello" sentiments from Walmart the other day, it was less than a dollar so totally worth it!

I hope you like them! Thank you for stopping by and your comment really mean a lot to me, I would truly appreciate it if you leave me comment and I'll make sure I make trip to your blog too! :) Have a happy TGIF!

World Card Making Day

Friday, October 4, 2013
I'm so excited that tomorrow is the World Card Making Day! To celebrate this day, I made couple of cards and submitted a few to Paper Crafts Connection's WCMD 2013 contest, I truly hope I win for the first time. The prize is totally tempting (hehe) and most important I in need for supplies! :) Have you submitted yours? Get them all in before the 15th this month!

Here is one of the cards that I made for my first World Card Making Day, a nautical-themed Thank You card.

If you haven't already check out the giveaway post I posted earlier, check it out now here. I have no entry so far, I guess my prize pack might not be tempting enough. But....if they are many entries at the end of contest I might add more items to the prize pack!

I hope you have a great day everyone! :) Stay creative!

Wishing you the BEST Birthday!!

My first chalkboard card, used Teresa Collins' new collection "Memorabilia" and some S.E.I embellishments. Embossed sentiment in white color over black card stock, also I touched up a little bit by using a real chalk in the background. Submitted this to Paper Crafts September Gallery Challenge but no luck, some other more talented contestants won the challenge.

I love Teresa Collins' products, if only I'm in better place financially I'd get all her other collections.

If you missed my last post about the World Card Making Giveaway, don't forget to check it out and enter here!

Happy Autumn

Update Update

Monday, August 12, 2013
Omg, where have I been??!!! I can't believe I haven't updated my blog for almost 10 days! I've been making cards, taking pictures of cards I made just don't have time to upload them. Just sneak in here for a quick update, I'm still the same here busy with two kids. My big boy is going to be three soon in less than two weeks (thinking what should I do to celebrate his birthday, any ideas?) and my sweet angel is 9 months 1 week old now but she is acting like her brother, climbing up and down (I guess monkeys see monkeys do? lol). I cannot stop her and sit her down for just 1 minute, I don't remember my boy being so active when he was at her age. Oh well....perhaps it's a good thing. She also joins us at the dinner table eating with us, mashed fishes, sweet potatoes, plain white rice, take them all. Here is a picture of her enjoying the mashed sweet potatoes, happily. :)

Lets move on to my cards, I finally opened the Heidi Swapp's Color Shine I bought few weeks ago (due to financial limitation I purchased a bottle everyweek so it actually took me a couple of weeks to complete the entire color collection but then after the CHA Heidi came out with few more new colors!! Oh my... ) and used it on my project, this is my first one with the spray (oh...l love it!)

Doesn't it look gorgeous hehe I love the butterfly, it's stamped and colored with Tim Holtz distress markers.

Next is this:

Simple, MME papers and embellishments. Also Couture Creations' embossing folder again. Oh this time I also used the perfect tear tools that I got long time ago. Truly perfect tear, no mess no hassle!

Ok, that's all for today! Going to bed now, another busy day tomorrow! Thank you for stopping by, leave me comment I'd really love it and so I can visit your blog too!  See ya!

LOVE it!

Friday, August 2, 2013
Another Couture Creations' project, using their embossing folder and doilies dies I made this card.

I'm totally in love with their products right now, their doilies dies are so gorgeous and look good every card I made. They have new Christmas embossing folders too which will be shipping in September (if not mistaken), they are so very pretty and I'm drooling already! lol I wish they carry them here in the states!

Title is from Momenta.com, love the color with pink background.

That's all for now for today, I'll be back! :) Thanks for stopping by!

DCWV Giveaways

Sunday, July 28, 2013
I got so happy when this turned out so beautifully! It's not from a letterpress machine!! Well, I watched some youtube tutorials so I tried this out using embossing folder and emboss the background with color! Gorgeous! Planning on sending this to my best friend!
