Crazily In Love with Yellow and Turquoise/Blue

Monday, April 28, 2014
I'm crazily in love with yellow and turquoise or blue colors lately, made several cards in these colors already! Perhaps I'm actually longing for the summer after such a long winter? Maybe! Can't wait for the sunshine, T-shirts and shorts! Oh...and pool! hehe

Here is my card today:

I love this card very much, usually when I make a card I have a designated recipient in mind but not this one, so I'm still thinking who would be the perfect person to receive this. :) Will you want to be the one? ***wink wink***

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Supplies:
- DCWV 6x6 Basic Stack
- Bazzil Basics Card Stock (Yellow and White)
- Studio Calico Wood Veneer
- Darice Embossing Folder (Clouds)
- Studio 12 Stamp

Happy Birthday In Metallic Red

Saturday, April 26, 2014
Randomly picked up a red metallic card stock from CutCardStock today and made this Happy Birthday Card. Love their card stock, good quality and perfect for dry embossing, give you the perfect texture of embossed image!

Because the card is metallic, it's difficult to adjust the brightness of the picture plus, it's dark red! :)

Anyway, I'm pretty satisfied with the result. hehe.

Thanks for stopping by!

For Mom

Wednesday, April 16, 2014
Mother's day is about three weeks away, I don't want to miss making Mother's day card for my family this year so I decided to make it early. I'm very glad we were able to travel home to see my family this past January. This is just the first Mother's day card I just completed, going to send this to my mom. My mom is not in good shape these days, she has diabetes and had one of her toes removed last year due to injury and infection after that. Although she had recovered she insisted to live by herself instead of with my siblings who live closer to her than I am. My mom is half way across the globe from me, so far we can only make it to go back every other year. I wish we can travel more often in the future when we are more financially stable.

So here is the card....

Inside card is stamped "Happy Mother's Day" title

I want to make couple more to send out to my sisters, relatives and friend's mother too so I think I will be posting more Mother's cards in the upcoming post! :)

Have you made any Mother's Day card yet? Please leave me a link so I can visit, leave you some love and steal inspiration from you! hehe

Good night and thank you for looking!

Happy Easter Card

Sunday, April 13, 2014
My first Easter card this year, making it for my husband's work client's family who is always being so kind to us. They own a family farm business so whenever my husband treating them they will give something for him to bring home such as eggs, raw honey (my favorite!), cakes, etc! We are so very grateful to have them in our life, they have been inviting us to join them for dinner too! Gracious people, thankful for them. So here is the card, I hope they will like it as much as I do. :)

Center oval and rabbit cut out using Cameo.

Flowers from Prima mainly

Thank you for visiting, I appreciate your comment(s)!

***I was going to submit this to CAS-ual stamps oval challenge but as I was reading the requirement to make sure I don't miss anything out, I realized it's a clean and simple challenge :"( I'm pretty sure this card is not simple nor clean hehehe oh well... next time!***

Imagine Little One

Tuesday, April 1, 2014
This is my second layout since the last time I created one (about at least 1 year ago), most of the time I make cards but I told myself recently that I really have to do more scrapbooking due to my declined memory. I tend to forget things easily even for things that happened couple years ago. I play Sudoku too as suggested by hubby to keep my brain busy all the time, thinking thinking...keep thinking!! I'm still young and I will not allow myself to have Alzheimer at this age (not ever!). I still make cards too from time to time, exploring new techniques and use up old stash that I have instead of stocking up more and I'm running out of room to store them! I have to watch what I spend too nowadays since we rented a house and any expenditure need to be planned carefully. I hope the hard time will be over someday soon cos I really can't resist on purchasing crafty goodies! :) God bless us!

Hero Arts stamp, I think their stamp quality is great.
