Crafter's Companion Circle Center Die Debut

Tuesday, April 25, 2017
How did you like the shutter card post I shared last week? The shutter card die is one of the Create-a-Card series that will be available for purchase on HSN on May 9th including the circle centre die below! They will both be sold in a bundle at a discounted price, how awesome is that?! Not only that, if you choose auto-ship option you will be receiving new Create-a-Card dies when it comes out.

Here is one of the cards I made with the Circle Center dies, if you check out Crafter's Companion Facebook or their other social medias such as Instagran and Pinterest you will see they are a lot of ways using these dies. I also used Sheena's new Create-a-flower dies on this card. For more supplies details see at the end of this post.

The background color is created with Sparkle Pens, to create such effect I first scribbled the pens on a large acrylic block that I use for stamping and sprayed it with some water. Then take a watercolour cardstock and dipped on to the surface of the color and water mixture.

The good thing about these dies is no scoring is required! All you need is a die-cutting machine and it will do everything for you including the intricate designs for both panels (not shown in this picture). I will be sharing more projects created using these dies with you in the next few posts so make sure to come back to check them out. :)

See the card in action in this quick video!

Shaker Card With Create-a-Card Shutter Die

Tuesday, April 18, 2017
Watch out! Some super cool stuffs are coming to HSN next month on May 9th. I'm so excited with this new Create-a-card dies by Crafter's Companion! So grateful to be on their design team to get my hands on them before they are being released. Here is my card using one of the Create-a-Card bundles - Shutter dies, it's hot off the press!

Made this shaker card although it's a little difficult to see the sequins behind the window panels. These dies are undeniably fun to play with, with just a few cuts and you can achieve this multi-dimensional result. I added some foiling elements using Crafter's Companion foiling kit as well as the sentiment. Don't forget to check out the luxury cardstocks too, they come in three different kind of textures such as mirror, foiled and glittered cardstocks all in one pack (10 sheets each) so you can try out all of them at the same time. I simply love the purple, blue, red, silver, green....ok, maybe all of them. LOL.

Happiness Card Wtih Foil Transfer

Friday, April 14, 2017
Have you tried the foiling kit by Crafter's Companion? It doesn't requires foiling machine or heat! It works like rub-ons and it's very easy to apply the foil. Sharing with you today is this card I created on a black cardstock which I think looks really good with the copper foil. I really like the foil designs too, they are different sets available that you to choose from.

I only colored the flower in the center to create the focus point for the card. These foil kits are available on HSN currently and speaking of HSN, Crafter's Companion will be releasing a bunch of new products on HSN this May 9th. So make sure to check back my next blog post for the sneak peeks! Like I usually would say, you are definitely going to fall in love with the new stuffs. ***grin***

Birthday Gift Card Holder with Create-a-Card Stacey Die

Monday, April 10, 2017
Need a card with gift card holder? Check this out! Gift card holder created using Create-a-card dies set by Crafter's Companion. I love this pot of plant dies, they are absolutely too cute and perfect for a quick hello or thank you cards. I have tried cutting these on cardstock, paper, foam sheet, standard chipboard and I'm happy with the results every time! For a more dimensional look I mixed cardstock and foam cutouts for the plant below.

I used the smaller (it comes in several nested sizes) create-a-card die to create the holder itself. The tips to achieve this is to not cover the entire die with cardstock that you want to cut. Only place cardstock on the part you wish to cut out such as the top scallop shape design.

Happy Easter With Classic Floral Frame

Monday, April 3, 2017
Hello! It's time for Spring and Easter crafts, my first project is this Happy Easter card created using Create-a-Card classic floral frame metal die from Crafter's Companion. To fit the theme I decided to design an oval-shaped egg to fit in the oval frame in the center.

The ombre background and the colors on the egg were created using Sparkle markers. I love the mini dies set, the flower dies are so versatile you can mix and match the shapes to create different flower looks. I usually create only one card for each design but since this is super cute I'm thinking to create another! Oh, and anyone loves a card swap? Please feel free to drop me a message! :)
