Multiple Spinning Love Card

Crafter's Companion will be on HSN in two days, I'm so excited to see everyone's creations using those new released products! I'm here today to share one of the projects I made for this release using the nesting heart dies. I'm always into interactive cards, you know those shakers, pull-up, pop-up and many more others including this multiple-spinning love card! It might not be Valentine's day but honestly you can make this anytime for your loved ones, for birthday, anniversary or just because!

Let take a look at this spinning card in action, I mean multiple-spinning card because spinning card just isn't cool enough so I added a couple more. LOL. Pardon my dark video background, I didn't have sufficient natural light and still figuring out how to edit a video's lighting. hehe. Enjoy!

Crafter's Companion On HSN Today!!!

Crafter's Companion is on HSN today!! Here are some sneak peaks for some of the new crafty goodies that are on HSN today.First of all, the Gemini Stamps and Dies range. They are three bundles available and each bundle contains 3 stamps and dies sets.

How can you say no to these ink pads? They are so easy to apply and they are water-reactive, I love them!

The last card I'm sharing today is this Christmas card made with the Die'sire Edge'sbles dies! Two bundles available and four dies each (Total eight dies!). I used mainly glittered cardstock on this card, it's so shiny! And the layers, I just love to add dimensions to my card!

Stamps and Dies Card Kit

Yesterday was my birthday and today is happy crafting day on HSN!! Sara will be there to show you all the Crafter's Companion including the card kit! The newest kit is called the Stamps and Dies kit, I'm so amazed by the size of dies that comes in the kit, it's huge! Look at the butterfly and the rose dies I used on these cards below, they almost fill up the whole card front. These are the pre-scored card blanks that are included in the kit and I believe the dies will look just as amazing on larger card size.

This first one is a shaker card, as you can see I stamped on a heat-resistant acetate and heat-set it in gold embossing powder. I had so much fun making this! Oh and the sentiment, it can't be more accurate than this. 

The second one is this rose stamp (and a matching die, no fussy cutting!), I used it a little differently which is why it doesn't look like a rose. I stamped and heat-set also in gold embossing powder, it really makes those petals pop don't you agree?

It's my birthday today! Spectrum Noir Metallic Wax

Omigosh!! Spectrum Noir is now carrying their own brand of waxes!! Love these metallic waxes so much!! And the colors are just indescribably amazing, they have purple, turquoise, pink, red, blue and green. These waxes work very well on its own or multi-dimensional surfaces which you can create using the 3D embossing folders. The one I used here is the new holiday's word 3D embossing folders (also coming to HSN in 3 days!) called Joy To The World. Doesn't it look great with those shininess? I like how Spectrum Noir is including the untraditional colors of waxes such as purple and blue in the range because Christmas not necessary always in red and green!

Spectrum Noir Metallic Markers On HSN!

They say girls like shiny things that's so true because I'm for one is a fond of the Spectrum Noir metallic markers! Unlike the sparkle markers (which I also love!) the metallic markers give a shimmering effect instead of a glittery one! It's good for hand-lettering project or even coloring, like this one I created here. I used the markers to color in the rose and the background. 

I stamped the same image on the background (used Crafter's Companion black shimmering cardstock - black pearl) and heat-set it with white embossing powder, then I colored the surrounding with metallic markers. I really like how it turned out. These amazing markers will be on HSN again this August 15th, grab them before it's gone!

Gemini Go On HSN August 15th

Welcome August, still hard to believe it's already first week into August. Last month was a busy month for me, mainly I was preparing birthday invitation for my son who had just had his party 3 days ago (his actual birthday is later in August) but since he decided to have the party at the cinema and the show he picked out was just released two weeks ago we didn't want him to wait too long because then everyone would have had seen the movie already. 

And at the same time my DT assignments were sent out so I had to work on those so I could get them send out before due date! It had been a roller coaster for the past few weeks. But anyway, I'm back!! And I'm ready to show you what I'd been working on for the HSN show that's coming in a week - August 15th! All I can tell you is that awesome things are coming!! If you had seen the video Sara shared on Crafter's Companion page you'll know about the Gemini Go! The Geminis, they are just getting more and more adorable! Now I have a family of three of them, the original Gemini, Gemini Junior and now the brand new Gemini Go!

Find Your Wings Stamps Set - HSN June 13th

Lookie here!! See what's coming to HSN next week June 13th! The stamps set used on all the following cards is going to be on HSN next week. Other than the love for coloring floral images I'm also into coloring living things which of course not limited to this beauty below. Crafter's Companion definitely hired the most talented designers!

For the following card I first stamped the image, colored it with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers then I filled up the rest of the background in a deeper tone color. To create the tiny white splatters I used a clean toothbrush + white paint, it was then let dry before I applied a layer of gilding wax over it.

This is the easiest of all, I stamped and colored the image with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, fussy cut out and then stick it onto a card front.

I used alcohol inks to create the background for this card, stamped over the bird image in black permanent ink then recoloring it Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. What do you think about the result? 

Sara's New Paper Crafting Collection - Rustic Wedding!!

Sara has another new collection that will be released on HSN this May 2nd - it's called Rustic Wedding and I can't tell you how amazing this collection is! It consists of so much fun elements in this one, 6x6 and 12x12 cardstock, A4 kraft card pack, metal dies (including create-a-card dies), stamps, embossing folders, and so on!!

Made two cards using some of the products in this collection, and they are more things than what you see here! I wish to at least make something with every single one of them but I also have other new stuffs waiting for me to play. LOL. Spectrum Noir AquaTint Brush Pens On HSN!

Great news to share, Spectrum Noir AquaTint brush pens are coming to HSN this May 2nd! To all Crafter's Companion fans, you don't want to miss out this deal. I myself is a super big fan of Crafter's Companion and very lucky enough to be on their design team, thus I get my first hands on these amazing and super cool AquaTint pens. Following is my first experiment using these brush pens and they are absolutely wonderful! 

Basically these pens are designed similar to the Sparkle markers, they both have brush nibs that allow you to color simple and intricate images. The difference is that the AquaTint is water-based and does not contains sparkle powder like the Sparkle markers do. If you are familiar with the Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers, these AquaTints are the brush nib version. I made a card with the brush pens and loved them! I will upload the tutorial to create this card soon, so stay tuned...!

Sheena's New Sparkle Markers On HSN May 2nd

New Sheena's Sparkle Markers are here soon on HSN! They are two brand new sets - Hot and Spicy, and Cool and Calm colors sets. Also Crafter's Companion designed six (yes, SIX) clear acrylic stamps sets to go with these markers. Made a card using two of the stamps sets and the new Sparkle Markers!

The background was created using the markers as well and the sentiment reads "Do Small Things With Great Love". Pop-up dies brought to you by Crafter's Companion are coming to HSN this May 2nd!! They are several designs of them one of them being this super adorable tiered cake pop-up design. Doesn't look fabulous?! I love it so much. I've always wanted to make one of this but never really motivated to do so due to the complicated measuring and fussy cutting! Now I don't need to do any of that, it's as simple as lining up all the different tiers of cake and run it through the machine in one pass and everything comes up perfectly!

The design comes with matching accessories dies such as the candles, mini roses, cake tops, banners and that cute doilies! Not only that, it also has its own matching clear acrylic stamps. Crafter's Companion Dome Card Kit

Another fabulous card kit by Crafter's Companion will be visiting HSN this May 2nd! Are you a card kit person? If so this Dome Card Kit is a must-have! Similar to the previous card kit release - Frame Card Kit, this dome card kit feature a boxed envelope as well. The fun thing about kit is that you can make it into something more than just a dome card, such as this fun treat-filled box! The clear acetate sheet to make this treat box is not part of the kit but you can always use any clear packaging acetate as long as it's sturdy enough to hold the shape in place.

What's Coming To HSN?!

Love what you see?! This is the new Stamp and Die from the Flutterby collection by Sara Davies that will be soon on HSN in just a couple of days!! Mark your calendar for this November 6th  (or set your DVR to record!) to watch the all day long craft shows on HSN, see Sara in action to demonstrate you how to work with these beauties and show you what you can create with them. 

Look at these cards, they are made with the Framed Wings dies and matching stamp! Isn't awesome?! I love the fact that it cuts only the sides of the wings and leaves the top and bottom of the butterfly attached to the card. This is kind of a next level crafting we are talking about. 

This card is created using the same dies and stamp but instead of cutting it as a whole butterfly I cut it half on both sides on a denim fabric and stamped it with black ink. Possibilities are endless depending on how your creativity!

Sara Davies Signature Black & Gold Collection

Black and Gold, it's one of the best combination of colors ever (in my opinion). The crafting expert Sara Davies (also the mastermind behind Crafter's Companion) came up with this collection Black & Gold and I think it's a fabulous idea! The patterned papers look good for making elegant project like one I did below. A home decor frame that will fit in any room perfectly. I'm thinking kitchen, bedroom, living room and even rest room (I'm not joking!). I think it will light up the room or at least gives it a completely different modern look.

Hunkydory Twist and Pop Kits

Die'sire Create-a-Card Dies For Christmas!!

Make this pretty box to give the gift out! Crafter's Companion new Create-a-Card die is so versatile you can use to make not only cards but also this pretty box, no gift wrapping required!
