Alexia here and I'm back today with another scrapbook page using pop-tones cardstocks. You need to see the entire range of this collection, all the colors are so beautiful (and delicious - each cardstock color is assigned a special name such as blue raspberry, orange fizz, banana split, lemon drop, etc. Don't they sound delicious?!). I created this scrapbook layout using cut-out pop-tones cardstocks and a patterned paper pad which you can find on CutCardStock website as well.
The direction to create the above layout is pretty easy. First you will need to choose the cardstock colors that you want to use for your layout. I used the following for mine: lemon drop, blue raspberry, orange fizz and spearmint cardstocks.
Then trim the cardstock to 3 x 3 squares, do the same to the patterned paper you choose to use.
Start by arranging the 3 x 3 squares prepared in previous step on a 12 x 12 cardstock. Make sure the color is arranged in a desirable way then adhere the squares permanently on the 12 x 12 cardstock. Trim pictures to be used on the layout slightly smaller than 3 x 3 so it can fit in the squares prepared.
Lastly, decorate the page with embellishments and sticker sentiments and that's it!
I have no specific rules when it comes to scrapbooking, I just let my heart flows and I think the result will come out better that way. I hope you enjoy scrapbooking like I do! Until next time CutCardStock fans, have a crafty day!
