First Halloween Card for 2013

Background Emboss (Letterpress?)

I got so happy when this turned out so beautifully! It's not from a letterpress machine!! Well, I watched some youtube tutorials so I tried this out using embossing folder and emboss the background with color! Gorgeous! Planning on sending this to my best friend!

Letterpress and Embossing

Trying out letterpress using embossing folder from Couture Creations, I won a package from them awhile ago and there are a total of 10 embossing folders in them and other super addictive goodies such as blings and pearls. Loving them very much and I've been creating more lately!

Just want to share some cards with you, here are some cards I made:

I think the black and white both looks pretty elegant together.

This is how it supposed to look like using the embossing folder.

Another reversed embossing using same embossing folder. Either ways they still look really good! Love the pattern, I wanted to try the letterpress with coloring so to add more dimensional look to the embossed pattern but I don't have the tool in hand. Maybe next time?

Turquoise and Yellow

I think I'm into the combination of this two colors lately (or bright colors), Turquoise and Yellow, together they just pop!  I made a card in previous post using almost similar color scheme, only the flowers are in Turquoise color so I thought of coming up with this card! I simply adore the bright colors!

Butterflies are stamp from Teresa Collins, stamped using Tsukineko Momento dew drops and embellished with pearls.

Sentiment is from Hampton Art, purchased it from Michaels!

Paper from Core'dinations, Fancy Pants Designs. Love the core color revealed after sanding it down with sanding block.
