Fall Wall Hanging

Friday, October 30, 2015
Hi al1, I hope you are doing great! It's Alexia here and I'm glad to be on another term with Craftwell. Thank you Craftwell, for another another term of amazing journey! I received my eBrush for this term so I made this fall leave wall hanging home decor to share with you.

Here is what you need:
- A 12 x 12 fall themed patterned paper of your choice
- Markers to use with eBrush (Spectrum Noirs, Copic, Sharpie, Tombow, Chartpak AD or Prismacolor)
- Craftwell Cut 'n' Boss and A4 Cut Stock for embossing
- Any cutting machine
- Fall themed embellishments

Step 1: Cut a fall leave design using any electronic cutting machine on a washi sheet , I used a 6x6 washi sheet from We R Memory keeper. Using Washi sheet with air brush will ensure a sharp air brushed image. If you are using regular acrylic stencil, make sure you tape all sides firmly.

Transfer the washi image to the 12x12 frame glass, I also taped all sides with masking tape to make sure that the ink does not sprayed on the outside out the image accidentally during air brushing.

Step 2: While air brushing, adjust the pressure of air when needed for different depth of color

Peel the washi masking off and here is the end result

Step 4: Using my cutting machine I cut a circle on 12x12 patterned paper, the dimension should be big enough to show the airbrushed image in the center. And I also cut a decorative frame for the circle.

Step 5: Create an embossed background for the airbrushed image using Craftwell Cut 'n' Boss and Teresa Collins Interlocking embossing folder.

Apply double sided tapes on the back of the 12 x 12 patterned paper in Step 4 and adhere the embossed card stock on to it.

And that's it! A fall home decor for your beautiful home. I hope you like the project. Thank you so much for checking on my post and look forward to sharing more project ideas with you next post!

Halloween Tombstone

Friday, October 23, 2015
Hi all crafty friends! Halloween is only few weeks away so today I have this Halloween project to share with you! Yesterday I went to Michaels and spotted this wooden tombstone piece and had to get it! I turned the piece into this Halloween decoration for my porch!

Here is the before and after picture for the project.

To create the background, I used Craftwell's eBrush with black Sharpie. Air brushed it all around the corners.

Then with the Cut 'n' Boss I embossed the purple and orange card stocks with Darice embossing folder. I ripped the card stock in strips and embossed it one by one.

I arrange the embossed card stocks in alternate color (Purple and Orange) and adhere them to the wooden tombstone. After that I start decorating the piece with Halloween stamps and embellishments.

That's it, and I absolutely love how the air-brushed effect on the background on top of title of the tombstone.

The coffins and mummy are stamped images, colored with Spectrum alcohol markers.

I hope you like the project, thank you for checking out my post! Hope you have a wonderful day and super fun Halloween. - Alexia

Autumn Is In The Air and Cards

Wednesday, October 21, 2015
Happy Wednesday! It's 12:04am here and I'm still up so I can blog few of the cards I created recently. It's Fall and I'm all in the fall crafting mood (and sometimes Christmas!), these cards are quick and easy to make. They are mainly just patterned card stock and ephemeras.

If you need a last minute card here are some ideas!

Honestly, the following two cards are made with scraps (except the embellishments) which I thought of throwing away but I saved them and made cards with it so remember, DON'T throw your scrap papers away!

This one is my favorite!

Which card do you like more than the others and why? Would love to hear what you think about them. Thank you for taking your time to stop by and check out my post. I hope you have a wonderful day! P/S: I would love to check out your blog if you have one! -Alexia

Halloween Banner

Wednesday, October 14, 2015
Hello all my crafty friends!! It has been awhile since my last post, I have been busy since my son started Kindergarten (that might be an excuse, most of the time I'm just lazying around hehe) so not able to create so much. However, Halloween is only about two weeks away and I would feel really bad if I don't get anything none. So I gathered my emotion and created this Halloween banner for my wall - finally!

I also have this red font version, look kinda bloody so I chose to use the dark blue instead. What do you think?

I used my eBrush from Craftwell to make the black reinforcement rings, quick and easy. Love it! Have you entered the contest organized by Craftwell? Make a fall project and tag it #fallforebrush and #craftwell for a chance to win amazing prizes which of course including the eBrush!! Since I'm one of the design team members I can't join the contest so I wish you the best of luck!

The Halloween card stocks are from Teresa Collins and Kraft card stock from CutCardStock.

I hope you like the project! See you again soon! -Alexia :)
